“God’s Peace”
“who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Matthew 13:46 NKJV
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,” James 1:2 NKJV
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NKJV
God’s peace is the treasure of treasures. The pearl of great price. It is a great and costly gift, both for the giver and the receiver. God purchased this peace for you and I with His blood. We receive this gift by trusting in the Lord in the midst of life’s storms. If we have The worlds peace and everything is going our way then you and I have a tendency to not seek after the Lord’s peace. We need to be a people who thank God when things do not go our way, because spiritual blessings come wrapped in trials. Adverse circumstances are normal in a fallen world. We must expect them each day. So, let’s rejoice in the face of hardship, for Jesus has overcome the world.
